Have a good week?? Mine...alright. DD had a blast last night Trick n' Treating, regardless of the weather, which was not cooperative at all! Cold, wet weather is not ideal for little ones to go out at all, but she was a trooper. And she had her line all set..'Trick or Treat' (or in her case, 'Frick or Freat') and thank you, or merci, depending on the person. It was great, and I admired her spirit.
Friday. Unity Stamp Co.'s Friends with Flair. Can I get a 'woot, woot'?? lol
So, I made a card. Surprise, Surprise! :)
But, to be honest, I was a little discouraged. It seemed like all the cards I made this past month were Get well cards. A little depressing, for me. So. I looked through all my Unity stamps, and guess what?? I had found one that had fallen out behind my 'bucket' and it was lonely. AND it was brand spanking new!! This stamp brought a smile to my face, because I remember seeing a card made with this stamp, and talk about love at first sight! I remember who made the card Paula--Jeepmama), for a weekly challenge (Crop Chocolate), and thinking, I really, REALLY want that stamp. So, lo and behold, a few weeks past, and I was able to save my pennies to purchased that baby! Yep! And I can't believe that I never broke it out.
So, I made a card. Just because. Who's it for? For me. Yep. A pink Love Bug with yellow flowers. If I ever was fortunate enough to get a bug, I would make it pink, with big yellow flowers on it! (I tried to convince to get one..but he totally objected--wonder why?)Can you see me driving down the street driving that baby?? Nope--you can't, because I do not drive. Let's just say that I am very heavy footed, and am actually afraid to get on the road. For other people. ;)
My car. Not a pink Cadillac, but a pink Bug. With Aretha Franklin singing. Windows down. Wind blowing through my hair. Shades on. aaahhhhh--- good times! Hey a girl can dream, right?
That's it for me for now.
Be safe. Get crafty.
