HIMCR #209--Any Ho-Ho-Holiday!!

Happy Saturday!
I hope you are enjoying the summer!
I cannot believe that July is almost over!
{insert sad face here!}

My boys will be leaving next month for college.
I don't think I am mentally prepared for that---
Are any parents actually prepared for that??!!
sigh!

Anyways, enjoying my time now, right?

New challenge over on the

HIMCR #209--Any Holiday!!!

And this week's sponsor is
Spiced Sunshine!

The DT were given a few images to work with,
with the challenge in mind,
came up with CHRISTMAS!!!!!
Yes, I know it is July--
BUT, bear with me,
Christmas in July!!

A great time to kick start the holiday craft frenzy!

I don't know about you,
I always seem to run out of tags.
So, I made tags!!

I used mostly scraps of paper,
and a modge podge of embellishments from my stash.
I am not usually a tag making person,
but I had lots of fun making these!
Will be making more,
that is for sure!

I am also linking this up over onto
the following:
Crafty Steals: Christmas in July

Cannot wait to see some of your creations!
Have a great day!
Be safe. Get crafty!

 Happy Saturday!
This week, over on the Hiding In My Craft Room
we welcome a new challenge!

HIMCR #207 - Super Scraps Saturday!

Use your scraps!!!

And this week's sponsor,

The DT were given some images to 'play' with,
here is what I came up with:
I challenged myself this week to use
papers that I wouldn't normally use,
along with embellishments.
The papers are from Prima Julie Nutting's line,
and the feather is from Bella Blvd.
The sentiment is from a swap, so
I am unsure of what brand.
The image was colored with
Prismacolors.

That is it  for me for today!
Have an AWESOME day!

Be safe. Get crafty!

Red, White, and Blue, with a twist!

Howdy doo, folks?
Another glorious day on our
wonderful planet!!

A new Saturday, a new challenge
over on the
 Hiding In My Craft Room
blog!!

This week, the challenge is
HIMCR #206 - Red, White, & Blue with a Twist!

Make it Christmas in July!!

The sponsor this week is the ever fun

The giveaway is 3 images from Scrapper's Delights

The DT were given to opportunity to
work with an image from SD.
I choose Shaylee Fairy.

Here is what I came up with
 the theme in mind:

I pulled out some winter themed papers for this little beauty,
which was colored with Prismacolors pencils.
The papers chosen are from
Basic Grey and My Mind's Eye.
I used an embossing folder from Sizzix/Basic Grey,
and
the snowflake is also from Sizzix/Basic Grey.
The snow flakes in the fairy's hand
 are from Jesse James buttons;
the blue jewel is from Doodlebug Designs.
The mistletoe are very old--I do not
remember where where I got them!

So, that is my project for this week!
Hope to see your creations!
Have a great day!
Be safe. Get crafty!
