Love you layout

Happy Sunday!
I hope you are well!
Woke up to soft rain this morning--so beautiful!
Me thinks, more like Me hopes, I get to do scrapbooking today, again! :)
Things have been insanely crazy here at home, lots of stuff happening,
and my stress reliever is scrapbooking.
And it seems to be only on the weekends when I am able to update my poor blog!
But you're still here with me, right? ;)

I was able to finish a layout for a camp challenge over
at Scrapbook Nerd-the challenge being 'Got wood?'
Yep, gotta lots of wood embellishments and paper..where to begin, right?
I used a sketch from DCWV, their July stackaholic sketch, and used
papers from the Coral & Navy stack.
This was more like a personal challenge for me, as I found it
difficult to work with these beautiful papers.
But I did the layout, added my woodies, and Voila!
C'est termine!
Well, that's it for me!
See you soon!
Be safe. Get crafty.

My project....my Project Life...

Happy {{rainy}} Sunday!
I can't believe that it is Sunday already---time is just flying by!
It is rainy here--been a rainy kind of week.
But that's ok.

So.
I took the plunge.
I started creating in a new form of scrapbooking
Like Project Life but it's my way.
I don't think I can do this type of pocket scrapbooking faithfully,
as I am a 12x12 scrapbooker true and true.
But I have been intrigued with this type of pocket scrapbooking for some time now.
I had a new album, purchased some WRMK 12x12 pocket inserts,
some cards, and away I went!!
My first layout, or page, was created with my son in mind.
His English class this past school was focusing on the Hunger Games.
Right up my sons' alley!
Their classes were divided up into districts, and points were allotted for winners
of various challenges. Like the actual story, people were eliminated.
It was quite exciting to hear about the events of the day when my sons
would relate the events to us at mealtimes.
Each player, individual had to make up their district logo, with their picture.
Robert went the full nine yards.
As you can probably tell from my page, he really, REALLY got into character! :D
He was District 4, and made his team's symbol.
When I showed him the layout, or page, if you will,
I was proud to hear him say that it was a cool page!

I am really, REALLy new to this type of scrapbooking.
But I enjoyed doing it, and am wanting to continue.

So, that's it for me for now.
Have a great Sunday!
Be safe. Get crafty!

I'm back...with 2 layouts!

Happy Sunday!
I cannot believe that it been over a month since I posted last!
LIFE!
It's been busy around here, and to be quite honest,
I lost it.
My mojo!
GONE!
The whole month of June was terrible for me creativity-wise.
Seriously--not one smidgen, or an ounce or a speck.
It was terrible.
I tried--really tried. I would be at my crafting table, and just...blah!
Nothing.
I missed so many awesome challenges, and I missed just creating.
Well, it came back to me. Not fully, but it's back.
I created 2 layouts Friday and Saturday.
Can I get a 'woot, woot?'
Papers: Simple Stories, Jenni Bowlin. Die cute: October Afternoon, Simple Stories, Crate Paper
and My Mind's Eye. Letters: Jillibean Soup and American Crafts. Washi: DCWV
Papers: Crate Paper, American Crafts, Echo Park. Die cuts: American Crafts,
Jillibean Soup. Stickers: Echo Park, Lawn Fawn, American Crafts. Stamp: Basic Grey.

Have a great Sunday!
Be safe. Get crafty!
