Baby Book with a card

***WARNING: PHOTO HEAVY!!! ***

Happy Sunday!
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

Yesterday was spent at my nephew's girlfriend's baby shower down in Montreal.
It was pleasant (and long!).
I hadn't seen some of the people that were there in such a long time.
And the baby shower was a success; I think the new parents-to-be
have everything necessary for their new baby.
LOTS of gifts!
I made them a baby book, because I believe that the baby's first year
(and seond, third, etc!) should be recorded.
I purchased the chipboard book from Michael's awhile ago.
I 'had' wanted to buy a certain collection, but time was a factor (and also, I kinda forgot!!)
OOPS!
BUT!
I have a HUGE amount of papers, I was sure to find something in there
suitable for a baby book!
There is a collection that I absoltely adore; so much so, that I had purchased everything I could
from that line.
Crate Paper Oh Darling!
***Sigh!!!***
LOVE IT!
It called out my name, and all I could think about were the projects I could do with these papers
concerning my daughter.
SO!

This is the card I made to accompany our gifts (we had also bought the high chair). I had won the newly released collection from Purple Onion Designs. These designs are so adorable!!! I was so happy to use these ---the designs are uber cute! I used my Distress Markers, with a waterbrush. The banner sticker is from Kelly Purkey.

So, are you still here, after all that??!! Thank you!
I don't know bout you, but I am in dire need of some R & R today! Thanks for stopping by!

Holy Scrap! That must have taken you ages to do! It's just wonderful and I'm sure they'll treasure it. I love how you did the card with the watercolour look (my new favourite thing) and you're right, the design is uber cute!
