Happy Holidays!

Happy Saturday!

I don't know about you all,
but I am so happy that the weekend is here!
What a week!
I was down and out with
a virus the majority
of the week; so fun!
And, then, just because I wasn't
having enough fun, my body
decided to break out in a rash.
All over my body,
and I mean all over!
Not fun or pretty!
It finally went away, and I still
have a sore throat, but I can deal
with that, right?
:)
We have a new challenge starting today
over on the

This week sees us with:
HMCR #218 - Any Holiday!

woohoo!!
And our sponsor is the delightful
Scrapper's Delights!

(I adore their images!!)

The giveaway is 3 images from Scrapper's Delights!!
Here is what I came up with:

She was fun to color!
 I used my Prismacolors,
and for the trim, I heat embossed white
onto the image, to give a little texture.
(sorry you cannot see it--very difficult to
photograph)
The papers are a combination of DCWV (blues) and
MME (pink).
The sentiment is from Jillibean Soup.

That is it for me for now.
Have an awesome day!
Be safe. Get crafty!

is always possible!)

Becky Higgins Project Life 'Inspire' pad,
The white strip of paper is
from Doodlebug Paper Frills.
Celebrate is from stash.

Just Roll with it!

Happy Saturday!!

A new challenge is started over on the
Hiding In My Craft Room blog today!
HIMCR #216 - Super Scraps Saturday!
I adore these type
of challenges--
makes one use their scraps!!

Our sponsor this week is:
The giveaway is a $20 Gift Certificate to Stamp and Create!

Have you seen those cute stamps???

I used a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp, Roxy.
I had bought some time ago, because
my camp name was Roxy!
Fond memories of camp!

So, I colored her with Distress Inks,
and dug out some scraps,
some Echo Park Happy Days scraps,
to be exact! :)
The embossed teal paper is from DCWV.
I also added a little glitz and glam
to my gal with some trusty Stickles!
So there she is, folks!

Have an awesome day;
Have an awesome weekend!
Until next time!

Team Colors

Happy Saturday!!

How was your week??
Mine--alright.

Little Miss started Kindergarten this past week,
and it felt like my heart was being torn..again.
It was hard to see her go
onto the school bus, with her backpack, lunchbag.
But she enjoyed school, and
that is what counts.
I did not get emotional when she was boarding--
I was a good girl!
I held it in!
Until after.
Aye!
So, I cleaned. And cleaned.
And did more cleaning.
With the music on.
Because, dang! it was
toooo quiet! lol

Anyways, Saturdays means a
new challenge over on the

This week,
HIMCR #215 - Favorite Team Colors!

And the sponsor is
The giveaway is a $7 Gift Certificate to Pickled Potpourri!

The Design Team were given a choice of image to work with.
I chose the girl in the bathtub.
Bubble Over is what the image is called,
found here.

(To be honest, I wish I was THAT girl!) :)
And this is my design:
The red paper is from Doodlebug Designs, blue from DCWV.
Colored with Prismacolors.
I used different colors than what I would normally use, but the
challenge this week is team colors.
With the football season among us,
the challenge was to make a project representing
your fave team's colors.
Well, I am not a football fan.
I am a hockey fan.
And my fave hockey team
are the Montreal Canadians!
GO,HABS, GO!
And their colors are represented by my card.
BUT,
if there are complaints,
it also matched my team, should I HAVE to pick one,
Montreal Allouettes (CFL)
Same colors. So, both bases covered!

That is it for me for now!
Have an awesome weekend!
Be safe. Get crafty!
