I used left overs from a layout I was working on this past week.

The flower is from Prima.

My beauty is colored with my DD's Crayola markers. 

Don't ask! lol. It has been one of those weeks!

Unity color challenge

 Hiya folks!

Here today to show the card I will be entering into

the Unity Stamp Company Challenge, color challenge that is.

These are the proposed colors:

 

And this is my take on those colors:

 I used a 'new' stamp I received before Christmas, 

and the papers are from Fancy Pants Designs 'Beloved' collection.

The puffy heart is from KI Memories, 

and the image is colored with Distress markers.

Talk about cutting to the wire--the deadline for this challenge is tonight!

Phew---made it....I think! lol

It's a new year, a new month, and a new challenge over on 

Hiding In My Craft Room!!

I am making a calendar for my MIL (as I do every year!) to 

help her keep track of her 30+ grandkids' birthdays.

Of course, as usual, I am late in the finishing the calendar.

Well, why break tradition, right?? lol

I used a mix of pretty papers, and some delicious elements from Maggie Holmes 

Open Book collection.

I also used elements from Glitz All dolled Up collection. 

The Darling word is something I picked up awhile ago at Michael's.

The cork heart and flower are from Prima.

Friday with some sass!!

 Happy Friday, and Happy New Year!!

How was your holidays?
For us, pretty quiet, thankfully. Love the family, but sometimes....yeesh!

LOL.

I was recently gifted with a dang cold, and it is packing a punch!

Wish I was able to return it.

Anyhow, it's the first Friday of the new year, 

and

it's the first Friends with Flair over on the Unity blog.

How exciting is that??

I received some new Unity stamps some time back, and the one

I was drooling over for such time is finally in my possession!!

And it is that stamp that I used for this week's card.

I made this card for this sweet girl, whom my daughter is in total awe of. 

She is turning 15 on Tuesday, and I thought she'd get a kick out of this card.

She has sass---which I absolutely love! lol

So that is it for me now!

I am hoping to snuggle on the couch, and just veg...
