HIMCR #256-Any Holiday

Happy Saturday!
How is you??

School is out, and the summer vacation
has started for my little Miss!
Let me say it will
be a challenge to keep her busy this summer.
LOL

A new challenge has started over
on the

HIMCR #256 - Any Holiday!

The sponsor is Sami Stamps!

The giveaway is $12 Gift Certificate

With the theme in mind, the
Design Team were to choose an image.
Let me say, very difficult
to choose just one...lol
So many options.

Then I saw one that I knew I
would use for other ideas, too.
(I love that about digital stamps--
so versatile!)

And here she is:

I colored her with Prismacolors
colored pencils.
The papers are a variety--
DCWV, Jillibean Soup,
Graphic 45.
The wood veneer, from Jillibean
Soup, are colored with orange Sharpie.
The sentiment is from Me And My Big Ideas
(liquidation at Michael's--love that!)

And there you have it, folks!

You have until Saturday, July 2nd at
2AM Central time, to link up your creation to get
entered into the giveaway this week.
When uploading to online galleries
please use code HIMCR255.

awesome sauce, right??

The Design Team were given
the opportunity to pick an image
from Sami Stamps.
I chose this adorable giraffe, with
the idea to make a birthday card
for my daughter's upcoming 6th
birthday!
          Here is my card:

I personally love this type challenge,
aw geez---I love them all! lol
Perfect example to pull out my trusty
Cuttlebug and folders!
I used a WRMK folder (circle)
that I picked up at Winners near Christmas
for 3$$!! score!
(love a good deal!)
Papers are from my stash...
not sure which brand, sorry! eek!
The cute giraffe is colored with
Distress inks, and my trusty brush.
The embossed balloon stickers are
from EK Success (at the dollar store!!)
There you are, folks!
Be sure to check out the other gals,
to see their lovely creations!
You have until next Friday night to
link up!
Cannot wait to see what you all can do!
