Blooming Wednesday

Hi y'all!

Last day of April...can you believe it??!!

Yesterday,  I received some happy mail.

My new Prima stamps had arrived!!

Yippee!

When I was looking at the Bloom girl, I was

thinking of what color to use for her.

So.... I asked my 4 yr. old.

The color? Yellow,  with some pinks and blues.

Her words. Seriously.

She's right!

I used a variety of mediums on her.

I stamped her with Hero Arts Shadow Ink,

then proceeded to use watercolor crayons, inks and paints.

Such fun. I just went with the flow.

How are you all??
My poor blog!

Time is just zooming by, and with work and family, my blog and crafting

(to my dismay!!) has taken a back burner....

But today, I carved out some time for me to craft.

I made a layout of an older picture of my daughter, wearing her bunny ears.

It was the day before Easter, and she was EXCITED!!

CHOCOLATE and TREATS galore! 

What's there not to be excited about, right???

lol

I kept it very simple, as I really wanted to get this picture scrapped!
I also wanted this layout to be about her. I have other pictures of the
rest of the gang collecting Easter eggs the next day..That's another layout!

Believe it or not, this layout was started early the week before, and alas, I never had time to 

finish it. Oh well!

Do I like it? Kinda....lol

It's cute, but definitely not my best. lol

Friday....with possibilty!

 TGIF?? 

YES!

I was able to get a few moments to create something in my art journal.

You know, it's very frustrating to want to create, and 

not be able to. lol

*sigh!*

So, I did this art journal, went with the flow.

Ever have those moments??

Want to create, but not sure, so you just 'let loose'??

This is the result of that:

 I used my Distress inks, with the blender, and some flower

stencils from Pebbles, and just went with it!

I ,then, used a Unity stamp, one of my personal faves.

I used my Bic markers to outline some of the words.

I love this quote--I must remember this!

So, that's it for me.
